Gallaudet

Gallaudet, my dream university ever since I was in the sixth grade. Now I'm finally here, as a student. So far its' only been about two weeks here at Gallaudet and so far I'm loving every moment.

         Every college life has social life, educational life and etc. my social life is great, and I found my kind of friends. We have some classes together. And I love them! On the other hand the educational part, the boring, hard part. My classes are okay. Some I like because they are very interesting while others are a bore.  The homework part edibility takes up a lot of time.  I still have to learn to balance my social life, classes, and homework.

         Like every college freshman, this is out first time leaving home. Since I never lived in a dorm before. This is a big change for me. Of course I do miss my parents and my bed. But going to deaf camps like Youth leadership camp for one month and other sports camp got my prepared for being away from my family for so long. I have to say thank god for technology like videophones and text. I could never feel homesick because I know when I start to feel homesick I can always call my parents on the video- phone.

         I hope later, I will learn to balance my social life, classes and homework. But I will always be happy here at Gallaudet University because this is a place where I can call home also.
